Tip 2: Do your research

Coffee festivals draw in big crowds, but one way to get the most out of your experience, is to do your research. See what organisations are exhibiting, what will they have on offer and how will that benefit you? It is always good to prepare a (short) list of things you wish to take away from the festival experience.

Tip 3: The fewer layers, the better

Unfortunately, one can never be too sure of British weather. Whether the sun is shining or not, if this is your first time attending a Coffee Festival, be prepared to spend a few hours in a (very) warm environment. Even if it is a cold day, it is always to best to have as fewer layers on as possible. Coffee is brewing all around you – it will get hot!

Tip 4: How to get there

From setting the morning alarm, to making sure you arrive on time, it is so important to plan your journey to the Coffee Festival. Travelling by train/tube is usually the easiest way of getting in and out of London. However, whether you live near or far – the London underground is as busy as it is brilliant. Remember to leave yourself plenty of time in order to avoid any delays!

Tip 5: Enjoy yourself and remember to stay hydrated!

It will be hot and crowded but the atmosphere will be electric. It is important to stay hydrated throughout the event – there will be various opportunities to drink plenty of coffee but make sure you drink plenty of water as well! Staying hydrated will keep your energy levels up, allowing you to enjoy the whole event.
