Easy Espresso Tonic recipe

  • 100ml hot magnesium mineralized water 
  • 20g freshly ground coffee, medium strong roast, from Central of South America
  • 3-4 ice cubes made from magnesium-mineralised water
  • 50ml tonic
  • 1 shot of grapefruit juice
  • * Quantity varies, depending on the size of the espresso pot.


Let the water filter through the BWT Magnesium Mineralizer and then boil it. Grind the coffee beans, grinding level: medium-fine, similar to fine-grain salt. Fill the lower part of the espresso pot three-quarters full with hot water (the small screw should not be covered by water). Insert the filter and loosely fill with coffee. Put the top part into position and screw into place. Place the espresso pot on a pre-heated hotplate. Remove from the hotplate upon hearing the first hissing sound. Place 3-4 ice cubes in a glass. Fill the glass three-quarters full with tonic and pour the coffee in. Improve with a shot of grapefruit juice!
